Looking for sufficient electrical

Once my tax money rolls around I am looking to revamp my system.

I will be purchasing an AQ1200D.

Should I run 0 gauge or is 4 gauge fine?

My Aurora has the battery mounted under the back seat. I was wanting a bigger battery than stock. Any reccomendations?

Sum it up:

-4 or 0 ga?

-Reccomend battery

Thank you everybody for you time!

Not sure what size battery it is, I'd go with a batcap 2000 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

And it'd be fine to run 4 ga. How long of a run is it?

4 gauge is fine for that amp, as long as your door speakers amps are less than 300watts total. And as far as a battery look into a Kinetic 2400 if it would fit. Or even better a powermaster.

You can use a battcap as a replacement for a stocker? I thought they worked different than normal batts?

Yea I haven't done the big 3 yet.

I've been running my Sundown for about 6 or so months and at full volume my car (completely stock electrical) will run no lower than 14.5 volts.

Will running 0 ga hurt my car at all? I just figured it would help dissapate heat

It won't hurt your car, as long as it is fused //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Yep. Dave (12 Gauge) has one that replaced the stock battery in his CRX.
Does he have any problems with the car starting after it has been sitting for a while?

1/0 will not hurt your car, if anything it will be less stressful than smaller gauge wire due to the ability to carry more current.

Thank you so much for all of the quick replies! They are all appreciated.

I am also on a stock hu at the moment and, quite frankly, it's shit.

I am interested in a deck with a built in eq and 3v+ outputs.

Any reccomendations?
