Hey guys I just bought a pioneer headunit avh5500bhs for my 2013 silverado 1500 ext cab
I am looking into replacing the stock speakers and adding a sub amp combo
I have pretty much no experience with car audio so bare with me.
Im looking for a 4 channel amp to power the sub and the front set a speakers
also looking for the speakers and sub as well. I found a nice box that holds a single 10 here
2007 & Up New Body Style GM Extended Cab Single Downfire Box
As for the amp and speakers Im not sure. I found this one
Amazon.com: Rockford Fosgate PBR300X4 Punch BRT 300-Watt Ultra Compact 4-Channel Amplifier: Car Electronics
75 watts RMS x 4 at 4 ohms
Can I bridge two channels and use it to power the sub?
Looking to be able to crank up the volume to some metal and get that vibrating bass and have it not sound all muddy like my stock (probably blown out ) speakers
Not really sure where to start, just need a push in the right direction, maybe some advice on a good amp to start with and I can build the rest from there. Thanks a lot
