Looking for some setup suggestions for my monster van!

Hey guys,

Kinda gettin into the audio scene the past few months. Got a nice system in the Acura RDX, the home theater at home, and in my room, now all I need to upgrade is my beast of a van! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif I own a 1997 Ford Club wagon XLT Super Duty (the extended big one that can carry fifteen people; like churches and the boys and girls club use). It is the equivalent of the Ford E350. Just like this:

There are normally 4 seats in there, but I keep the back one out permanently for cargo space, which leaves me with plenty of room for a nice big box with some subs.

Over the summer I upgraded my HU from an old junky Kenwood along with the 4 components in the doors to a Sony CDX-GT640UI HU and Pioneer TS-A6872R speakers in the doors. These items were gifted to me so they obviously wouldn't have been my first choice but hey I can't complain since it was free.

Now, I am looking to add some low end to this setup. I am not familiar at all with what would work best in this van since it is so big and has weird acoustics. I am not a big boomy bass type of guy, I like it punchy and accurate but still being able to feel it. I was thinking like 2 12's but I really don't know what's best ... so that's what I'm posting here for //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif Obviously I'll need a sub amp. I want to put an amp on the Pioneers in the door too since the Sony HU doesn't do so well in that department and starts to distort when the volume hits around 40 out of 50. (amps would go under the front seats). Also I don't know what I will need electrical wise...

I was hoping to do this for under $500 bucks since I'm a poor high school student... is this realistic? I don't need top of the line gear, nor do I want to have the loudest system on the block. Used stuff is fine. Just want something to fill out my sound with the ability to show off to the guys //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif Install is taken care of, I helped install the first system way back in the 90's along with the upgrade over summer, and my good buddy will be helping me out who used to be an installer so he has plenty of experience.

Thanks for any help you can give recommending components or just tips on having such a system in a van...kind a new adventure. Thanks again!
