ok well i have an 02 ford explorer and the box now that i know is ghetto as hell that im trying to replace. i guess thats what i get when i let a 'friend' that claims he knows what hes doing make me a box. anyways...i have two 12W04 powered by a RF Power T10001 bd in a regular ported rectangular box. i know he didnt know what he was doing because he didnt take anything into consideration as far as dimensions for anything.

right now the box i have is 44"W x 13"D x 16"H.

my trunks dimensions that i can work with are 55"W x 28"D x 16"H

i want a ported box.

the amp is mounted to the back of my seat behind the box right now but i want to mount it somewhere else.

if anyone lives in upstate new york and wants to help pm me plz...also if you can help me with a design for a new box please get back to me asap.

no, it is to much. i know there are a few members up there. i belive SPY may be close and he's a good box builder. maybe he will see this. or just PM him.

well it hits pretty hard even in a shitty box. there is no crackling noises or nothing so idk if the amp is too powerful for the subs...

That's way too much power for those subs, IIRC they are rated at 125w RMS each, but as long as you watch your gains you shouldn't have a problem.
