Looking for some help on setup

Hey guys

currently have the 8 speaker monsoon system. I'm looking for some suggestions on what I should purchase for subs (either 1 or 2 12's, havent decided yet), amps, speakers (do you think i should even replace my current ones, or is it a good idea to upgrade them too?).

I am driving a 2003 passat w8. Looking to get the Pioneer AVIC-N2 head unit http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/pna/product/detail/0,,2076_3151_192089333,00.html has anyone had anyone experience with this model? or any other recommendations with XM/sirius and GPS.

Looking for sound quality over anything, and money is no issue, pricey is ok, just looking for the best in sound.

for sound quality kicker L7's if money isn't an issue. or jl's w7. both great with sound. but the L7's hit harder for a 12" because of there square design.

get 1 15...an rlp or a 15 se would do u good.. and are ur speakers decent? do u like them.. imean we havent heard them so we wouldnt know, but aftermarket is always better

For sound quality (SQ) Kickers are not the best at all. Try elemental designs, Image Dynamics or JL audio for sub(s). Decent amps are pretty much amps except the cheapo pyle/pyramid/etc crap out there. I say get a decent set of components up front and a good set of coaxials or components in back with a single 12" in the back and amp all of it with your HU and call it a day. Oh and that AVIC-N2 won't allow you to watch any movies while driving at all. Might want to look into the alpine/kenwood/panasonic/ or AVIC-N1.
