sq at stake

my cousins need help....they have 4 amps all in different ranges....the sub amp is 600w x2ch....anywayz....they dont have a crossover or head unit or equalizer....all they have right now is a discman....and split that up into three of the amps.....the other has no use as its a 20w x2.....wat they have problems with is the SQ of the midrange and treble....wat can be done to aid the horns and tweets to come out clean...they did try caps but they hold back a little of the power

I would say that you should worry about getting a HEAD UNIT first. then try to get an SQ setup

they're waitin until they buy a new vehicle then to buy new amps and subs and the whole system....they're only using this setup temporarily until then.....

why wouldnt you get things now when you can remove the stuff that you buy???

well thnx anyways....i just wanted to know in case....cause its a shame when you're cruising around and your car is not puttin out clean music....although the bass is perfect

well u can call it midbass...cause the amp has a sub frequency selector....but its set at 60hz...but i find nothing really wrong wid it

it has a 100w amp playing 2 pyramid gold tweets....it has a 200w amp playing midrange with two 150w each horns....and a 600w x2ch amp playin 2 12" woofers....i think they are pyle's
