Now let's get to your post ~
Hey guys i have decided to buy a re sx 12" speaker dual 2/4 ohm 1000w max.I need to know what is the best amp for this speaker.
The one that best suits your needs and there likely won't be a single best answer for this. There are too many factors to include...personal preference, budget, possible space limitations, etc etc etc.
I kinda lean towards us. amps or fosgate.
Both of those companies produce solid gear, to be sure. I'm certain there is something (multiple somethings most likely) in their lineups that will do what you need. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/thumbsup.gif.3287b36ca96645a13a43aff531f37f02.gif
Do I need a mono amp or maybe a bridged 2 channel. Either way i want the most power from my amp.
There are advantages to going either route and your particular needs will factor into which is better for your specific situation.A monoblock will provide for a lesser overall current draw from your charging system.
A bridged two-channel would probably be easier on the ole wallet when looking at comparable power levels. Your opening post is a bit confusing - have you already bought the sub? If so, did you get a Dual 2 Ohm or a Dual 4 Ohm?
If you got the Dual 4 Ohm then a bridged 2-channel wouldn't really be the best out for you as you can only set that sub up to either a 2 Ohm or an 8 Ohm final resistance. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif
Also a lot of us amps work best at 1 ohm how do you wire a dual 2 ohm down to that ohm level or is it even possible. because if it is not then the us amp is useless to me.
Here's an unendingly handy link...save it into your favorites.
