looking for recommendations on amp for small system

Yes, I'm a noob here. I browsed thru the first dozen or so pages of the forum and there are a lot of "what amp should I buy" posts, so I figured I'd fit right in.

I'm not building a 10,000 watt system, just upgrading stock. I have a Mustang convertible which limits a lot of the choices. I put a Pioneer Avic D3 in the dash and have two sets of Infinity 6820cs components to replace the stock speakers.

Looking for a clean amp that will work well with these 2 ohm speakers and not build a lot of heat since I want to mount it in the stock location - behind the rear seat. Was leaning toward a MB Quart until I read a post about them getting hot. Was also trying to find a Precision Power A404 or the newer A600/4.

Go with the old school PPI A404 ...Those are very nice amps...a clean white art series would be pretty sweet //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
