Looking for RE dealers (besides RE direct)

i'm gonna bet that 80-90% of re's sales were from forum members or people who discovered them on the forums, so you go and alienate your customer base and jack up prices.

Actualy I can end this thread right now.....I got recones for my MT already....problem solved.

So RE can continue to do whatever it wants, doesnt matter to me, i'll buy subs elsewhere from now on. My only new problem is that no one is gonna want to buy used RE subs anymore, reconed or not.......because of the fear of not getting an affordable recone....and that my friends, is sad.

Im planning on reconeing my MT and selling it to break even, and just take the whole thing as a lesson learned with RE.

I also deal with alot of people who compete, and I noticed that most of the people who were running RE last year (and even had big RE logos on their rides) have scraped the logos and changed to other brands...

Now, I realize that SPL competitors pale in comparison to the rest of the subwofoer consuming market, but that kinda does give you insight to what the real hardcore users are doing.....its is a microchasm if you will.

Instead of coming here and *****ing about it, and honestly thinking you'll find a source for recones here, why not ask for a list of close dealers to contact when you called them?

Or would that be too logical?

.02 cents, when the 13w7s first came out they were 799.00 in the local shops......

I would have to say that the new RE lineup looks more badass, and seems like it would do a much better job at outdoing one of those pound for pound. As for facts, I have yet to hear a w7, or any of the new RE lineup.

Price going up=business. yeah they might have screwed "us" into not wanting to do business with them for the recones, but it's a smart thing on their part for doing it, who wants to pay 200 for a SX recone when they can spend some more and get a brand new MX or XXX?

they want you to buy new stuff, i bet they make a lot more selling one of their news subs than reconing yours (a couple months ago) for pennies on the dollar
