Looking for new subs

Well this is my first pickup and I'm coming from a Tahoe so I'm not aware of the major discrepancy with resonant frequency. I've heard as long as the box is down firing, the output should be decent. Maybe I've heard wrong.

Kam - I know you keep saying to go with an SA but I don't have the mounting depth under the seat to accommodate it. That's why I'm looking at sd3 or e.

How about 2 sa8's forward firing passenger side port tuned to 34

Should have the room and will have similar output to a 12

I'd consider going to 2 8's. I've never had anything smaller than 10's but if it's anything remotely close to my TC Sounds 12" I'd definitely be satisfied. The only problem I'm having is trying to find someone to build me a box. Everyone on here is either busy or taking time away. I'm currently looking at Fox Acoustics...F-150 SUPERCREW 2-10" VENTED 2009-UP

some of those new 8's are nice man look at ssa fl8 idk what depth is though .55 cf box $199..

I'm in the same boat as you trying to figure out which subs will work best under the seat. The Fox Box looks ok, but it's tuned to 36hz with volume of 2.05 and that has to be before the port area. It looks like most 10's would be squeezed in there. I am considering FI SSD 10's and maybe the SA8's or F8L's. I can't seemed to get a good idea of mounting depth on the front facing boxes.
