Fi Audio, DC, Sundown, or Skar audio for 1500w rms?

Sooooooo. I over powered my last two subs by about 500wrms. I just smoked them out about 2 hours ago, I was showing off with two skar VD 12s at 500wrms each earlier today setting off car alarms at my local mall lol [emoji23] I usually never do that. They were pretty hot, but I've always ran them 500wrms over. Anyway I have a slot ported box right now for 2 12s that's about 3.5 maybe 4.0cu ft total. The amp I have is a hifonics brutus 1516 and I'd like to keep it running at 1ohm, which is 1500wrms rated from hifonics. I want more of a sq setup that'll still get loud, two 12in subs, orrr I was thinking about maybe going to 2 15s sealed for more sq purposes, maybe a single 18? The car is a 1991 Subaru legacy wagon. I have a budget of 3-400 right now but if I wait a couple weeks I can increase that budget. Opinions and options on all quality subs is welcome. Please a little help here guys.

some american bass xfls get down pretty good .... you probably need more power than that though i have 2 10s xfls on 2k and pound clean and loooowwww

really need more info on the box like how big is port and actual dimensions of box and port and length.. fi alphas should be best sq (thats what i'm debating right now alpha or sa) but need to find out about your box, 2vvx probably be ok.. look at fu 750's or maybe 1 15" 1250 (if u can get a box made for it) my buddy just ordered 1 to run off his cab 1600 amp..

Pick up a used sundown X 15" and build a nice ported box around 4.5" cubes net. Or pick up a new SSA Icon 15".

I forgot something important. I listen to all types of music. This setup is great for rap and EDM but ***** for my Rock music completely. Sooooo I was thinking king maybe a T-line? Or a complete 2 15s sealed? Opinions?

Width-32in. Height-16in. Top depth-14in. Bottom depth-17in. Port width is 2.5in and then the port wall. Depth of port wall is 15inches

looks like u have about 2.8 cf after wood port and sub disp.. and box is tuned to about 43hz (thats not for sq, more for spl comps not daily driving, i like 35hz, others here like 32hz).. so u just need a bigger, better box with some decent 12's really, or like guys said 1 15 in 4.5 cf box with lower tuning and u be happy

I really would like to buy 2 of the sundown SA 12s and have a custom box made out to 32 or 30 hz. I've put a lot of thought but just needed some more input. And I heard the SA series will take more than rated. I'm sure at 1500wrms they'd be okay?

That explains why the box is insanely loud. But it hot the lower frequencies really hard and loud. Anything above 55-60hz was crap

peeps run 1k each all the time.. tline boxes are sub specific @CSCStang here makes great ones but he's always busy

if u tune lower u won't get much over 55hz but it'll play deeper won't be as loud though, rattle car apart more lol.. popwar on here cracked his windshield in 1000 pieces driving down the road., there's video..

whats the port size and depth? if it don't say no real way to know what it's tuned at..
