Looking for new subs people in MA

What is a shocker sig? And what are the rms

Like this but with black frames.

Thermally the coils I use will hold 1200W continuous sine wave at 50hz for minimum 8 hours (likely indefinite) without failure, 6000W they'll fail after about half a minute. Can build to withstand almost any power mechanically, but price of parts will increase if you need to throw more than 2500W each into them.

For the record RMS means "root mean squared" which is the way average current and voltage is measured in AC circuit. The use of it as applied to anything consumer electronics related is very redundant and inaccurate, and generally thrown around by companies who would rather mislead and baffle with bullshit than inform and give honest descriptions of their products. We don't say my refrigerator runs on a 220V RMS outlet, for example

So shocker sigs are pretty much custom subs? And what would make me want one of these over a re xxx ?

Motors and coils are American made. There hasn't really been a standard cone or spider for these... there have been many over the years. The motor and coil is so dominant in response/performance you just get a cone that won't shred on the power you want to run and add enough spiders so you don't bottom them out. There's some new softparts, but they're rather scarce at the moment and I'm going to guess they're way overkill for what you'll need.

Which XXX?
