Looking for NEW battery, help?

ive done the big three, still have stock 105 amp alternator, and battery, battery was replaced about 10 months ago

still seeing a voltage drop from about 14.1-14.3 to around 11.8, which was what it was BEFORE i did my big three... i have a cap (only use it for volt meter btw) it reads 12.3/4 volts when car is off, and between 14.1-14.2 volts when started.. the cap has a voltage knob on it, i think i tampered with it when i first got it lol, shouldnt the battery be reading around 12.9 volts when off? (cap reads around 12.4 when off but goes up to around 14.1 when started) how to i make sure the voltage read on the cap is the same as that of the battery on both off, and when car is started?

also

im only running an audioque 1200d amplifier, im looking at either optima D34/78 or kinetik hc1400 (if it will fit)

im hoping to have to upgrade only the front battery and not have to add one in the back

any help/suggestions?

wells im looking for more than 800 CCAs.. maybe in the 1000 region if possible

my current battery gives off 755 CCAs @ 0º

CCA and CA do not really amount to much in car audio unless your amps can operate between 9.5v-7.2 volts........which is generally where batteries rest during such tests..and unless you are playing test tones the draw will be a lot of stop and go where there is no stop on a CCA or CA test until it hits 30 seconds.

well ive been planning on replacing starting battery anyways so might as well just do that and if it can solve the problem at the same time it would be great

you should be fine with only a agm under the hood. i think a d3400 is the biggest you can fit under ur hood. just make sure the wires reach the terminals.

so the d3400 should solve all my problems right? sincew its only a 1200rms watt system, would like ot go best route without needing to add a battery in the back

and whats the difference between the d3400, the d5100, and the d3100?
