Looking for Motor to 2011-2012 MoJO 15

I am looking for just a blown mojo 15 or someone that just has the motor to one.. I have a recone kit for the 2012 model and just need the magnet.. I'm fairly sure it doesn't matter if its D2 or D4, and I'm not sure if the motor from an older series Mojo would also work, mine is made for the motor 3 bolt design.. If anyone has anything that they think may work, please hit me up and let me know what ya want for it.. Thanks

Its tape to keep dirt from getting in the coil gap.

Iirc the q1 coil isn't any different from other coils other than its made from aluminum instead of copper

I believe that's correct, I think the motor and gap are the same regardless

oh snap I found someone locally with a blown Mojo 12 that is same year model as what I have for $50 that I'm supposed to meet tomorrow.. by locally I mean nearly 100miles away but at least this way I can see if my Q1 will fit on the DVC motor or not, right now I'm 97% sure it will

Motors arent a curtain ohm load the voice coil is where the ohm load comes from so there is not such thing as a d2/d4 motor.

yes, I know the motor has nothing to do with impedance, but I do not know if the motor for the Mojo Q1 is somehow different than the motors for the D2/D4 Mojos in some subtle way.. I don't think that they'd be any different but I've seen stranger things.

well the guy ended up coming through and when I took the motor off of the 12 I had to do quite a bit of cleaning just because I'm OCD about stuff like that. I bolted the motor to my Q1 and it seems to fit properly but I haven't actually tested it out yet to see how it sounds..

On another note the 12 I got from the guy looks to be in very good condition, but it just doesn't produce any sound when hooked up. I put a meter on it and it's not getting any reading on the ohm load, I even tried to connect it past the actual terminal to where the leads go into the spider and still no reading.. the sub wasn't frozen and when I took the motor off the coils appear to be in great shape, but I guess either it is completely screwed up or the leads aren't connected to the coils at some point and I was wondering if anyone had any ideas/suggestions.. I will post a pic of the VCs of the 12 to see if anyone out there can tell me what may be the issue.. To me it looks good but then again the only sub I have really seen the coils like this is on the Mojo recone and this 12 once I took the motor off and they look exactly the same.. In the past when I blew a sub I had actually had it where the coils came unraveled and were everywhere, but these appear to be in place.. Just wondering is there some place I can stick the meter to determine if it is completely trash or if it could somehow be fixed.. Thanks
