Looking for Loud and Cheap

I am looking for the cheapest subs that will get loud in a sealed box. Must be in a sealed box. I have been loooking at the db500, the maws. The maw 15 caught my eye, under $100 for a new 15!

How will that 15 do in a sealed enclosure?

How will a 12 db500 do in a sealed enclosure?

Any other new subs i should check out in the ~$100 price range?

I would prefer new...

try planet audio m2 15''s. THey are on million buy for $35 a piece. Im about to grab three of them. I had two before and they are about the same as memphis pr's

This setup is for a friend. He just wants as loud as possible with a $100 range on just the sub. and its going in a SEALED box. I was also considering the maw12. Anyone heard one in a sealed box?

TC are more SQ-oriented woofers. Get the MAW 15 and throw it in a PORTED box for more SPL.

Daytons do alright sealed, although just about any sub is going to get louder ported (especially if you want 'pure SPL', as indicated above).
How much power does he have available (at what impedance), and how big of a box can he go?

The build quality on the maw 15 is nothing short of excellent. You wont be disappointed

hey dude... it was running 15.9 volts cause the alt was broke.. it actually got up to 17 before the alt died all together
