I just purchased some Rainbow SLC265 Kicks, 30 sqft of eDead1vSE and some 3/4" MDF baffles. I'm going to be running the SLCs off of a T4004 bridge to 2 channels. I'm hoping that this will be loud enough to hurt my ears with the windows down on the highway and provide a decent amount of bass until I can afford to buy some new subs. Any opinions of if I'll be giving these speaks enough power or any other suggestions/comments etc?

Scratch the eDead, I'll use that in the trunk. I have 40 sqft of damplifier and Deflex pads coming in. I'm concerned about not having enough bass. I have BBE on my headunit and it was turned on with my Type-S's for a while but it limited the volume. I turned it off and now the speakers get much louder but have a lot less bass even though I adjusted the crossover frequency on the amp. Since most headunits don't have BBE what am I doing wrong? Shouldn't there be more bass?

With a proper install you should be good to go, but obviously won't have anywhere near the kick of subs...

Also, you already have all the equipment, so there isn't much point to asking for opinions now. Just work with what you've got.

Idc what equipment I have or don't have because I can be flexible depending on the compromise is. I want to make sure it's a lot louder than the Alpine Type-S's I'm running and I want a lot more bass than the Type-S's. I also wanted to know if there would be any setup issues I should know about to get the most out of this system.

Hurting your ears while going down the highway with the windows down isn't going to happen, that's for sure. Would probably take a bunch of horns to do that as the wind & noise just kills the sound.

Besides with the Deflex pads installed it will sound better with the windows up, so turn on the AC.
