Feel The Bass In ur EYEs
Well I just bought a 96 caprice and need to decide on mids/highs. I want to build my own 6.5 component set. I will need 4 6.5 drivers, and some nice tweets. I will build my own crossover. I am looking for something that has darn good output and decent sq. Was looking at SELENIUM 6W4P. I haven't even looked at tweeters yet. Anyone tried anything else that they liked alot? Recommendations?

What is your budget and how much are you going to run? Why do you want 4 6.5's? Are you running front stage only? Why not go with a 3 way component set? tweets, 4" mids and 6.5"

4 drs- 4 6.5s (stock, is 4x5, but 6.5 is easily done with a spacer), rear stage 2- 6x9s. I will be adding subs in the future but, I want some tunes first, then a 383 stroker, then subs. Budget is as cheap as possible as always, but I was considering $500 or so.

How much are you worried about sound for other people in the car? If it were me I would say forget it and only run a front stage. This gives you a better sound IMO. You would be able to run a really nice set of component 6.5" and an amp. I found a phoenix gold amp that puts out 125x2rms at 4ohms.

The amp is 90$ here.

You could run a lot of different set of components I really like the quality I have got with cdt sets. For around 220$ you can get a set that would run really well off 125x2. I have a setup in my truck which has 75x4 and i really wish i just had a rear fill with the 150x2 to the front speakers.

i'll go wit a set of comps in the front(focal, rainbow, cdt, polk)any of these should work. coxials would be the same brand for the rear door and for 6x9s, i'll try to find some 4 ways. this probaly will eliminate trying to buy extra tweeters. pretty much any good brand name amp 75x4 @4 ohm should do good for frontstage and if u run the 4 speakers off the other channel @ 2 ohms, maybe 200 watts, but it will be good enough. somebody help me and him out.
