Looking for good SQ Subs

Alright so I'm upgrading my entire setup in my new car and now it is time to pick out some subs. I am look mainly for SQ subs. Either 10" or 12" is fine. I would like to spend about $300 on the subs. Please recommend some great SQ sub options for me and please present links as I don't know all the abbreviations of the lesser known brands. (sorry)

Are the TC-1000s good SQ subs or are they more SPL? Has anyone had experience with RD Audio Studio subs?

RL-P's I had sounded very good. I'd also recommend Adire Shiva's as I had a Tempest before and the SQ was also very good.

Single 15" sealed could work well and box shouldn't be any bigger than

2 10's or 12's.

i have an iDmax 12" and an iDQ15 v.1 both made by Image Dynamics

both are great SQ drivers but the idmax is more dominant on the lower frequencies.

Again, does anyone have experience with TC-1000s or RD Audio Studios? The IDs look a little above my price range. Keep in mind I'm looking to put these in a sealed box. Are any of the Eclipse subs good choices? How about Kicker CVRs?

Just as a note, my previous system (put together when I was 15) was Sony Xplods. I'm assuming any sub will beat them in SQ.

The TC1000 and TC2000 are geared more towards SQ. While the tc3000 is more for spl setups.

With your budget I'd go with a tc2000 12".
