looking for good but budget freindly comp. speakers

what do yall recomend that is good and budget friendly? I mostly listen to rap/hip hop music. I can either go 5.25 or 6.5.

I was looking at the Boston Acoustics Pro60 but after you figure in 2 sets and adding an amp, everything comes out to more than I would like to spend.

how's Polk?

the local dealer/installer said he can get me in the midlevel Polk for $250(front components) and $200 (back coax.)

still alittle pricey but if they are good I might get them.

I kinda like this package but I have never heard Cadence in person

Polk are pretty good speakers depending on which model you are getting and the boston's are great but expensive. You definitely don't have to spend $200 on your rear speakers either. Check out Image dynamics ctx65cs at woofersetc. for $180 They are well worth the money. There are a lot of options between $80-$200 just search for budget components on this site and you will be overwhelmed with choices.

I'll sell you a pair of American Bass 5.25" components for only $65 shipped. Save yourself some cash and get a solid set of used comps for your rear fill. That'll leave you more money for your far more important front stage.
