Looking to use a sealed sub about 2 cubic feet and plan to power it with 1000 watts, looking for 50/50 SPL and SQ. Want to spend about $200-300. Thinking TC-1000 or TC-2000 and maybe the Soundsplinter RL-p12d2.

Wondering if there are any other brands I should be considering at this price point or are these the cream of the crop?

Who would you recommend buying from?

Never owned a tc, so I cant really tell. As for SS, i've owned many, and was always impressed with the SQ. A great combo of getting loud, and soulding good while doing it.

Well considering you owned a SoundSplinter, you owned a TC. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

Ok, on to my experiences. I have personally run a pair of Soundsplinter RL-p 12s. In the box I had them in 1.3 sealed per driver net. They sounded amazing. The main complaint with the RL-p was its tendancy to become "boomy" but with the proper box that can be fixed //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif\

Edit...

AND, Dalucifer beat me.

I understand that, but he is asking for either or "TC" "SS". //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif

They are pretty much the same driver. Only difference is the cone and basket(depending on which driver he is talking about).

Better to ask on their forums, you'd get a faster answer.

The big difference is customer service //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
