Im lookin for a good deal on a COMPLETE package for soundsystem. I need 2 12" subs, an amp, and a box for 400 dollars or less. Itd be nice if i could get atleast 700 peak watts and atleast 300 rms. i know sq = sound quality. not sure about the other two, But im looking for BASS. Basicly, the most booming thunder I can get. Cargo room is my entire hatch back, witch isnt very big becuz ive got a 93 Mitsubishi Eclipse. like...38 inches in lenght. (for the box)

Are you willing to buy this stuff seperately? I have an amp that does 600w x 1 @ 2 AND 1 ohms, its a JBL BP600.1, if you want it, only $130 shipped. You could make a box yourself, or someone on here would make it for you for somewhere around $100. And you could find a decent pair of subs in the B/S/T forums here, for a nice price.

u could get 2 pioneer 305(or 306)dc's, (they run about 50-60 apiece) and a profile amp off profileusa.com, or demarco's amp should work fine.......jbl amps are very good in case you didn't know...........

p.s. sq=sound quality, spl=sound pressure level (usually very loud, but with no sq), sql=sound quality loudness (good mixture of both)

inbetween spl and sql...meaning leaning more toward loud, but still ok sq...make sense? Anyway...Does 130 shipped mean all i pay is 130 or i gotta pay 130+shipping?

$130 shipped = just you pay $130 (well through PayPal I would want $134 because of fees from PayPal), but its a great amp man. Really in perfect working condition. It is truely 1 ohm stabl, does 600w at 1 ohm, and it does 600w at 2 ohms too. So if you want to upgrade speakers later that are a different voice coil configuration, then you could do so and not lose power. PM me, or get me on AIM right now - phattonydemarc0

For $400 you could put something much better together. MA Audio is down there with Audiobahn products. And something that comes with a box will not sound as good as if you made (or had someone make) a box made just for your subs. And that amp is over rated, it will actually do somewhere around in the 600-700 range, and its rated at 14.4v, and it wont be clean watts of sound...

dont waste your money on the package deal you will regret it. listen to these guys they know what their talking about. its easy to build your own box and you can have someone on here draw up some box plans for $6.

and that jbl amp is a steal at $130

you really do get what you pay for especially with car audio. dont be cheap
