Looking for coaxial recommendations

I'm looking for a set of 6.5" coaxials. They will be run off a headunit for now but I might run them off an old amp (Cadence Q2000 60x2) later. I don't have a sub so they need to have good mid bass. I would like to stay under $100 if possible. Any suggestions?

Yea pioneers have alwasy been good at that price point. Bostons are good too, but pioneers have always impressed me for thier bass output for cheaper end speakers.

If you can stuff a 6 3/4" speaker in there, get that version. They are nicely built. The 08 rev replacements (D702P's) are pretty nice for around $80. VG midbass too.

I think infinity kappa coaxials are good for the money, but the pioneer revs are the forum favorite if you go the coaxial route.
