how much do DD's usually cost? I was sorta leaning towards SA's but now that y'all gave me more to look at its time to do some research

They are on the higher side. I feel DC is doing a bit better then DD right now. Also Rusty is changing some stuff for 2012

You'll have to check with DD, the 1515's usually go for about 200$ used, and I've never seen any 2515's used for sale.

SA's will give you no more output or SQ I dont care what all the huggers say... Unless you add more power and get some Nightshades or something

Your getting flamed.. But I agree. When you get to this level of equipment, atleast subs. There is very little difference in output and SQ. Some will take more power then others but the subs meant to take that power will have more output.

I guess I'm just too cautious about the power I give it, at least I shouldn't ever have to recone it.

Yea, I'd say that you won't get much louder unless you change the amp, try redoing the box, maybe 3.5 cubes per chamber and 30-32hz?

You might be able to get one or the other, but I don't think you'll get a ton of both.

It wont be a huge increase. Maybe a db. And those P3s have decent SQ. Change to a better amp. A really strong 1500( Sundown SAZ-1500, Kicker ZX1500, Rockford T1500.) Then get some better subs and you will notice a good bit of increased output.

lol! yeh i plan on doing both eventually when the money's right, but the money ain't right right now so i'll only be able to do one thing for now
