Looking for advice

i'm pretty new the car audio stuff, but i have learned quite a bit from these forums. I have a 06 Nissan Altima i want to get a sub(or subs) and obviously an amp, i just don't know which ones to get. i plan on installing it myself and im looking for nice bass, not really loudness.

I have a good sony HU and some very cheap sony front speakers that work fine.

I have a loose budget of $200(no more than 250 with cable, rcas, etc.) i'm well aware that i'm not gonna get anything very good,

other questions:

What kind of box would work best

and what gauge wiring for the sub/amp

2 12in kenwood 3013s 88.00 on ebay, cheap used 500w amp, probably get on here for a 50 spot, rest on a wire kit...

build your own box, 4ga will be more than enough

Save up to about 500 and then put in a system. It will be a lot more enjoyable than what you will get for what you have.
