//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/help.gif.cee8f684da1ba626487a8bc51152e1ec.gif I was going to post in the Amp forum, looking for an amp, but i need to figure out what Sub im going to get 1st.

Well I just blew my Rockford, I started out with a MTX 8, then went to a ALUM12Q then to this rockford P3. I now have a much better paying job and im looking for a good sub.

Im plan on going ported, prob like 1.75-2.25 CU.

Im looking to experiment a little here. I want some what of a "tight" bass but I do wanna feel it (I like SPL's). I was looking at the XXX 12" but the 15" displaces a lot more. And ive never had a 15 so I dont know what to expect. I was also looking at the Adire but again, im not too sure what to get.

As I said above, im looking to experiment, so I would like to get away from the "name brand" best buy and circuit city brands.

I really not sure what amp I want to power it, but I do only plan on buying 1 sub and 1 amp at around 1 grand total.

Any suggestions on amp + sub will be greatly appreicated.

Thanks //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/up2something.gif.dd110ecf3ae4b76050d87598f2f8de7c.gif

Anyone have any input?

I know a lot of you guys have opinions //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

If your looking at the xxx from re the comparable one from adire is the brahma line. VERY nice subs.

I'm going to order the Incriminator Audio lethal injections as soon as I get the cash.

Well, im looking for something with just a little more power, but only 1 sub (800-1500rms)

I saw they were 500W rms subs, are they really that good?

Adam

Even though the xxx and the brama can handle 1600 watts that doesnt mean that is what they need to reach Xmax. If you had a brama in .9 cuft seald box all you would need to get max performance would be 900 watts.
