Looking for a sub that blows my mind!

For party bus style bass, a couple of 12/15s in a horn loaded enclosure tuned to 40hz would be best. Most party music doesnt even go down past 40hz. Id invest in a good design from a well known box designer. Again its not the sub alone that projects music far and hard, the enclosure and power has a huge effect on it, more than sub choice.

Originally I was going to do it with 1 wet sounds spl sub in a custom ported box tuned to 40hz. Now I am having doubts seeing everyone's opinion about it not being in the league of the W7. I had asked a few people who had heard it and said that they were close but the wet sounds sub would be louder across a larger area and would sacrifice some SQ.

Technically I am not really playing that much party music but would like to be able to do live music from inside/outside the vehicle. We do listen to alot of acapella music mixed with eastern asian drums (bass). We like to feel the music when we play it. Current setup of Alpine Type R equipment plays well inside the limo but don't feel it much.

One of the problems I am running into is finding a sub I feel is worth $500-1000. I am an engineer and love engineering marvels. I would love to have something that everyday when I turn it on I fall in love and feel its worth every penny.

Dss ethos, ssa xcon, dd 9500 series, sundown zv3, ascendant audio havocs, incriminator audio flatyne/lethal injections are some selections with wide range of power to choose from. Try out the sub you already have though, try it out.

I can still return it even though I'm very curious by it. I'm looking at a single IDMax15 or DD9515 instead probably ported. I am not familiar with other brands(have been out of car audio for ~20 years).

You're looking for something larger than a damn 12" woofer. You're also looking for something pro audio more than likely. Enclosure will probably be a horn of some sort, folded or tapped or whatever. You're on the wrong forum. Will these drivers work? Yeah. Are they really what you're looking for? No.

that trap music or club mix or whatever you want to call it in that vid is heavily bass boosted on the recording and wont be that loud on regular music //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif
