Looking for a stereo reciever

Search function hates me, as usual, so I'm just gonna start a thread.

I use a pair of old Jensen 3150 towers and an equally old Pioneer VSX-305 stereo reciever for my living room HT. The other day the Pioneer reciever died, so I'm stuck using the TV speaker until I can replace it.

Basically, all I need is a 80 - 100 WRMS @ 8ohm reciever for under $200. Clean power is preferred, but I'm willing to accept the quality of what my budget limits me to.

The only source of stuff like this I know of is Parts Express, it offers a TEAC reciever. Any alternatives to that or other places to look would be great. Thanks.

I have a pair of jensen CS315's.Pretty good compared to some of the stuff churned out these days.

My receiver died last night too.I completely melted two of the channel outputs.looks like a couple capacitors released some kind of shit.I feel for you. Free bump as I'm looking for a new receiver in the same price range, except a 5.1 surround sound receiver.

Just a tip, look on ebay for some older yamahas. Some of the ratings are a little less but look at the THD compared to some of the crap offered at bb in that price range.I'm on the hunt now too.

i have a older reciever, hooked up to 4 Magnavox speakers and it sounds awesome, i donno how much it worth but shoot me a offer, the brand for the reciever is "Interactive AV"

if you want more pics i can take em

My choice is made, I'm not paying more than $30 for anything on ebay. Too many bad experiences there. That limits me to some refurb Insignias, from the look of it. I'll pass...

I've decided to spend just a little more and get an Audiosource Amp 1, which looks great on paper and perfect for what I need.

I found it for $170 on another site, after shipping it was about $190.

EDIT: I hate it when people ask questions like that for two reasons. The first is that it means that they find it's hideously overpriced and know where to find it cheaper. The second is that they might have found an equivalent even cheaper than that.
