looking for a SQL 12" that can handle 1800rms

I am looking for a single 12" (sealed) to replace my 2 12" OZ ME's (sealed).

Currently running the pair of ME's with 1000rms, it could use some more power. Well, I have a small sedan and looking to switch to something more compact w/o sacrificing output.

I have 1500~1800rms @ 4 ohms (Zapco 9.0X) to work with.

The new SI Mag seems like a good option if I was to run it with 1kW and I will definitely try it out when its released, just wondering whats out there that can take some serious juice and offer very good SQ.

I was looking at the Fi BTL, but how would it sound in a sealed enclosure?

definatley a no go on the btl. not a sq woofer. look into the re xxx . the older ones work great in small sealed enclosures. one of the best sql woofers ever made. i have one for sale if interested. mint condition

idmax?? i think 1800 watts ems is a little much for an idmax.. it is a awesome sub though!!

yeah its a tad much, but it would probably be able to handle it in a sealed enclosure if I baby the gains

If I were to get an idmax, which I might if I find a good deal, 1200rms or so would make me happy.

I just want to try something different

they go pretty cheap here on the classifieds. do a search and im sure you will find a couple.
