I could rent you my SMD DD-1 to find the distortion on your deck...if that helps at all. Probably not though.

Otherwise. Give "keep_hope_alive" a PM.

I sent him the manual for my headunit. ANd he told me what to set some of my settings at.

I appreciate that man! I was having a little distortion issue, but redid the gains and its done. I will pm keep_hope_alive, but right now it just seems like the levels are off... I am switching to active so I hope I can find someone before then to help set the EQ and tweek the crossovers. Right now I can do it but I need a different setting for each type of music and I want to see if I can come up with a more universal setting.

He has responded to other threads I have started, he is definitely a good guy to know. Hopefully he will be willing to give me some pointers.

I do. That's why I rely on tools. I hardly understand all this crossover and so on talk.

He will. He seems like a busy day. I think it took him about a day or 2 to respond to me.
