looking for a pair of 15's that will sound good and get loud on low power running Infinite Baffle.

 

Possible Condition of Item(s):

used preferably. i have ~1K available at 4 ohms and ~1700 at 2. amp is an Mmats D2100.2

Price Range:

not really sure. looking to offer up a pair of Dual 1" slug TC9 motors and my OEM TC9 12 and MAYBE some cash..

Details:

looking to move to 2 15's infinite baffle. i dont want "SPL" subs. looking for something that will sound good and dig low running infinite baffle. maybe someone has something ill be interested in, otherwise im selling the OEM 12 and using that money to have top assemblies built by SPLaudio.

You're right, I just looked it up. While not specifically designed for IB, there's plenty of people that have claimed good results using IDQs and IDs in IB. You could always go with two of these Fi IB3 Series Sub Woofers | Fi IB3 Subwoofer

i definatly apreciate the help, but the idea is to find something used and possibly trade some of my gear for them so the wife doesnt murder me in my sleep. i would love to grab a pair of the FI's but thats not going to happen unless i plan on fitting my coffin with a system.

Running IB 1000 watts should be plenty of power. Subs are 800 rms each.

thats what i thought on my single TC9 based 12. but even throwing the full 1K at it its just not enough power, plus i want some overhead. dont want to be running the amp balls out all the time.

ill keep them in mind tho.
