Looking for a nice Sub amp $300 budget

Looking for a nice sub amp to replace the 1001bd I fried. Would be powering 2, or 1 15' PG Titaniums. Looking for somthing that puts out around 6-800 watts @4ohm for one sub, or around 1000+w@2 for the pair. My price range is $300, give or take about $25, which i'd like to use for shipping. I was looking at a MD2, but they look to be a little out of my price range. I've seen a couple Orion 800/2 amps that put out around 800@2, and would be good as a multiple use amp if I ever decided to feed a shitlood of power to some high end comps. Any suggestions would be appreciated as always. Playas stay up!?

i/s 2200- rated 700 into 4 ohms, probably puts out more and they can be had for $150.

Check out eD's 9.1,its about the best thing they make over there

Looking at the ED 9.1. I was considering it a while back. It can be had brand new from ED with shipping for $350. I've also had people make me lean towards a Orion1200D for around the same price, touting company name and reliability. What company is I/S anyway? did a search but didnt find much I was also looking at a PG Tantrum 1200.1, but from looking at the design, and the suggestion of some shop owners, I'm leaning away from it, as I hear it may be easy to smoke. Keep the suggestions coming! Thanks!

Birth sheet reads 645 watts. Tons of DSP features...all of which are defeatable.

Subs are single 4ohm VC each, 550rms, 800 peak. I'm debating if I should give one a good 6-800 watts in a ported job, or try to send 1000w to both sealed which I had previously been doing.

u said u needed1000w@2ohm so the Orion 1200D wont work.....

and they stopped making Tantrums a long time ago,which was a shame

and quite possibly the demise of the company (IMO)

I had a tantrum on a pair of those TI's......sounded great.

Not sure who told you they were easy to smoke.....they might have been thinking about the early batch of the Xenon line.

Id go for the 9.1- that three year warranty is nice, and transferable if you ever sell it.
