Looking for a nice pair of 6x8 components.

I'm swapping out my Phoenix Gold RSD 6.5 components for a 6x8 comp set that'll fit in the factory mount with tweeters the same size to replace the PG tweets I have cut into the door panel.

I was looking at these.

Kicker DS680.2

Infinity Kappa 680.7cs

MB Quart RVF 268

I'll be running them and another set of tweets off of this:

Hifonics Zxi 6406

I'm wanting something with a good amount of mid-bass but not lacking on the highs either. I will be deadening the doors with RAAMat.

Ok, but why two sets of tweeters, specifically? What are you hoping to accomplish by going that route?

Additional stand-alone tweeters mounted higher in the cab can provide a more focused amount of higher frequency music directly towards the occupants.

It can also balance the sound when you placed two Kicker 12" CVX subwoofers in a single cab truck and also create a sorta-surround sound concept by their higher placement in conjunction with the lower placed component set?

Ah I see now, you are wanting to magnify the reproduction of the high frequency range to compensate for excessive subbass in a small cabin.

It should work out fine for you, then.
