looking for a new sub

need a new 12 in. sub in the $200 range and able to handle about 500-600 rms...... have a sealed box already that is 1 cuft and dont plan on buying or making a different one. help me choose, was thinkin a type R but did some researching and it sounds like it needs a bigger box than 1 cuft and most say go ported with this sub.... so im back to the beginning of my search for a sub

re se would be perfect. optimal box is 1.0 sealed and rated at 600 rms and is in your budget range.

actually if you want a sealed box for SQ then polk makes good SQ subs. look into the SR series

You could also check the forum classifieds here there are se's for sale occasionally. Might not want to buy on there either though.
