I have a jl audio 8w1v2 that recently went out on me. I was powering it with the rear two channels of my jlaudio slash amp bridged for (I think) about 75 watts. I have an approx. 0.4 cu ft sealed box it was in.

I am looking for a comparable sub to replace it, and just trying to see if I can find anything cheaper than purchasing this same sub new again or off ebay. I enjoyed the sound of this sub in the cab of my truck, so I'd like something similar to it in sound quality and power deliverance. I'd love to get the very same sub again if anyone has one for sale.

Any ideas on what I could do with the sub that burnt up on me? It started making a horrible smell, then got very faint/static-y, then quit altogether. Just throw it away lol?

It's a Volvo factory amp, so there's a custom wire harness between the head and amp.
