Looking for a hidden stereo for a classic car.

CustomAutoSounds.com makes some decent head units for classic installs. Most are meant to match classic American cars. Looking at their website, I see they have a headunit now that can be completly covered and uses an RF remote (don't have to have line-of-site to the HU). The remote looks like a cell phone too. Might be worth looking into. None of them will probably match the quality of a decent Alpine though.

Any issueswith power? I have a cable to hook the iPod to the batter power of the car as well as to give it a seperate headphone output so I only need connect one thing to the iPod. I just assume I will have to have a little time with the trunk open to set the volume and whatnot on the amp and crossover I end up with.

in the states dont you guys have those little remote modules that hook up everything to eachother and have a thing about the size of an ipod somewhere within reach to control it i dont kno what they are called but its like a all in one remote for all your audio visual gear in the car aswell as the sattilite radio its alos a weird shpe not rectangle but rectangle with an oval part on one side i saw it on wreks to riches or sumthin
