Looking for a hidden stereo for a classic car.

I have been looking at options for a hidden stereo for a classic roadster. The vehicle has no standard place for a stereo, and I do not want one visible for both show and security reasons.

I want to have MP3CD capability and/or iPod capability.

All I have found so far is this:

and I do not beleive it has an input or mp3 capability.

Any input would be greatly apreciated.

I am sure of that, I was just trying to get feelers out for any products out there with fully functional remotes or other features I need to look at before making my final decision.

She has no glove box, though I can add one, but I am not 100% on that either.

I believe theres even a company that makes new decks but they look old to match the syling, try looking on google, or buy a rodding mag and check it out

I would just put it into the glove box. seems pretty simple as long as your car is 12 volt

There's always the option of building yourself a cheap carputer. It would run any electronic media you wanted, and have a remote, given the right options added. Mount it anywhere you want.

I had pondered that as well. It would have to be cheaper overall than a stereo with an iPod hook up.

If I go with just hiding it in the dash I'll likely go with the relatively low end Alpine I used in my Mini. Remote and ipod capable and not sick on price.

Do note that there is no glove box in this car. So I'd like to not have to install one in order to put in a stereo.

this might not help.. but all good marine head units have a nice wired remote that you could put the deck any where you want

its not hidden but if ure looking for a classical look check out becker...i think the model was mexico or smthg,, but is expensive..a lot
