Looking for a good SQ sub that can pound

I have a nice DD 9012 dual two underated from DD at 1000 rms so should take a clean 1300-1500rms easily it has the carbon fiber dust cap and cast basket in brand new condition I may sell...... this will give you what you want
Can it be run sealed as well?

Dont feed me that a watt is a watt BS. The way Class D topology works makes a difference in SQ going from quality power to budget power.
There's no BS when it comes to powering subwoofers. Class A, A/B, D, GH, you're best off choosing what's most efficient, fits where you want to install it, and fits your budget. When it comes to efficiency it's Class D for watts per dollar. I use and recommend Class D on full-range speakers as well. It sounds fantastic in my car and I would gladly do a full Class D install for any of my customers as well.

If there's any chance to continue this discussion in a constructive manner please take this to pm's. Sorry for taking the thread off-topic.

Negative. For subwoofers as long as the amp puts out rated power you're good to go. Changing the amp would net very little gains.
You've got a really bad habit of spreading incorrect information. You tell people to clip their subs because it's the same as a tube(incorrect and dangerous), and now you're trying to tell people to go get the worst quality amp that they can, because... Why, exactly? Are sub amps incapable of making noise? Are subs incapable of playing distortion? Honestly, people should really start paying attention to the bullshit that flies out of your mouth on a regular basis.

You are wrong.

Thats a good thought. I just like 10s better. I havent even ran my 8s yet. Lol. This is just for future use. But I may just do that. Any idea how little of a box the 12s like?
About 1.2 to 1.3 per sub tuned to about 28-30hz

You'll probably end up liking the 8s though, I hear good things about em....Daytons are better SQ wise though

Yea I heard them in TJs whip before I picked them up and they were surprising clean and quite loud for being in an SUV. But dang, thats pretty big considering the 10s like .7 net.

True....the size jump makes a pretty large difference in em...its still smAller than lots of 12s though....but, idk if I'd choose em at that point unless I was in it for sq over SPL

I think 3 10s would get pretty loud... No?
