Looking for a GOOD set of components

currently i have:

alpine cda9853

alpine type r 6.5 components in the front

kappa 5.25's in the rear,

powered by an infinity 4 channel

I am def. looking to upgrade the front components and amp, and i'm probably acquiring a D3 in-dash soon.

what would be the best components and amp to get. I am obviously looking for really loud and clear sound. i have a sub so i'm not too concerned with bass out of them.

i was thinking about MB quart's but im not really sure?

mb quart's dont sound as good as they used to to me...

im running Alpine Xtypes. and they sound great

how many watt's dose ur infinity 4ch put out.... those type R comps sound good, i installed a set in my lawyres truck with a 300x2 alpine 2ch and i think they sound great....

Search in the classifieds, there have been many threads recently with people searching for components. Maybe you'll find a good deal.

Aint that the truth!!! back in the early mid90's they were the ish.. They sound like mud now... Same with the polk stuff if ya ask me...

im not too worried about finding speakers to buy yet, but more what ones to go with, i'm looking for a high end component, i read some on the Hertz speakers but i dont think i can spend a grand on 1 set of components.

The infinity puts out 125rms but i would def. upgrade that if needed.

i guess it has a lot to do with tuning, i have a lot of trouble tuning the xover/amp on the CDA9835
