I have 2 12in polks I'm considering to my current system . Each of them have an rms of 400 watts. I currently have 2 10in JBL's with a TMA 500.1 amp each getting 250watts. I was looking at an alpine amp for 226 dollars on online car stereo that would deliver the 400 watt or 800 total power needed in 2ohm. However I'm unsure of other quality brands that may be cheaper and still supply enough power. I'm willing to spend the 226, but would rather spend less. However I was also thinking would 250 watts be alright for each polk and either take the 10's out or buy a smaller amp for them.
