Looking for a ~400 RMS @ 4 ohm amp. Any ideas?

As cheap as possible while still being at least very close to 400w RMS @ 4 ohm.

Don't have a ton of money, but want to power my two Kenwood 12's a bit better than a Sony Xplod 800w that I have.

Any ideas?

If the subs are Dual 4ohm voice coils, then you could do one ohm as well. I have a used amp that would give you a little more power at one ohm if you are interested.

No they're 8ohm drivers so I'll be running parallel at 4 ohm.

PPI Phantom P1000.1 is rated for around 580watt RMS at 4ohm. Cost.. last time i checked was $210 shipped from sonicelectronix.

You can also get the 2 channel model, P600.2, and bridge it for 600watts RMS.. cost $160-170

I believe the jl audio 500.1 will do arolund 375 rms if I remember right, I'm looking to sell mine, but it might be a bit I need to get my "street cred" up a little.
