does an amps fuse rating determine power output?

I think it has to do with design, and where it's fuse, power supply or speaker outs.

One of my Pioneer amps thats rated at 600 rms, uses an 80 amp fuse.

I've noticed over the years that about 8 amps of fuse for every 100 rms watts, for your average quality amp.

MB Quart ONX1.1000D has 1, 70 amp fuse but claims to output 1000 watts

eh... they have old school amps with 40-50 amp fuses that push over 1k so like i said fuse rating only goes so far
can you name one 1000 watt rms amp that will only pull 50amps of current without popping the fuse. because I want it!

there was a discussion on this before, most of them was cheater amps btw and only had low fuse ratings... also some of the fosgate railed amps are like that

You're not going to know until you test with a meter. Typically even carpeting a box as opposed to painting is going to lose a few tenths.
