looking for a 16v alternator

what im saying is it's better to have a adjustable seperate regulater because you can turn it to what ever voltage you need,it aint fixed or set to a certain voltage, ive made these regulaters before, most of them have a cable that goes to your alt,and the control part is in the truck with you.

No, it will just be an EXTERNALLY regulated alternator. NO SET VOLTAGE, you can adjust the voltage at the turn of a know, usually from 12-18v.

Christ. You'll want to charge the 16v batteries at 17-18v.
