Looking at new front stage

I can completely live with it now. The dip isn't audible. But I want some of that wow factor of pillars. I'm not going to swap the DSP since it's not doing anything wrong. And I need it's input EQ.

The trunk is going to get prettied up also. Nice show quality install
Unless you have a deep dash, id advise against pillars. I ran em, you lose stage depth and there is far more of a "in your face" feeling. Thats with a 3 way frontstage. Plus tuning becomes far harder because hard early reflections tear up your FR.

Plenty of other dsps have input eq. If you want a nicer sounding system, you're going to need more control. Period.

Lol it does pretty good right now. The MS-8 is a smart little cookie. That's why it won finals a few years ago running all stock everything.

Learn what a binural mic is. It's not like all the others.

There is way better things to spend money on that will yield better results than a new DSP that could go backwards

It got judged by a 20 year USACi vet that said it was the best stock class cars he's ever heard.

Well good luck when it breaks within the next 5 years and you cant find anymore ms8s on the market for under $1,000 and you have no idea how to tune so you lose your amazing stock system.
You do know I had a 3 way and bit 1 in the last car? Won SQ and broke 150db.

And in the 90s had a old analog audiocontrol EQ. And a huge PG one.

The thing now is I want to stay 2 way. It's just way easier. I don't want to spend hours on end tuning anymore. I want to fix the dip. The widebander up top will fix it. Can I live without the tweeter.
