looking at 2 different eclipse subs

I'm looking at buying an eclipse sub and I'm un sure about which one of these would be better.

Eclipse Sub SW88120 DVC 12 inch

or the 12 eclipse subwoofer sw9122

I couldn't find the specs for the sw88120.

I'm looking at these on ebay and one of the auctions is about to end so some info on these quickly would be nice. Thanks.

The 88120DVC is based on the TC Sounds TC7

The 9122 is based on the TC3HP

I've owned multiple 88120DVC's.....good subs with good sound quality and respectable output.

It depends on what you are after, really.

The 88120DVC (TC7) is a good sub if you are looking primarily for a sound quality sub with respectable output capabilities that does well in sealed enclosures.

The 9122 (TC3HP) on the other hand would be better if you wanted a subwoofer you could drop into a ported enclosure and throw a decent amount of power to.

yeah..i'm going with a premier TS-W3001D4

had a sw9152 and i loved it. i put 1650wrms to it and it took it every day like a champ even with a stock eclectrical system on a '93 explorer. it plays the lows soooo well cuz it moves like 3+ inches. played pretty clean at lower volume too.

i had two SW8102's, ran sealed, each got 550 watts. did a 138.7 at the dash, seats up. seats down i did a 139.8 -- not bad
