LOL @ my laziness with car maintenance

Put off doing brakes for weeks, finally had the $$ and ordered the rotors/pads from TAS Auto (great site BTW, for all you Accord owners). So I ordered everything last Thursday...and on Friday the **** front left rotor seized up with the pad...well, what's left of it anyway.

Spent $100 to have the car towed home, sat in the driveway for a week, and finally UPS came today with my parts.

I think it's awesome that you find it funny that you made yourself a rolling road hazzard and a danger to everyone else. If I couldn't afford to have my vehicle in safe operating condition I'd cut down on the car audio but that's just me.

Sometimes when you drive a vehicle day in day out things deteriorate so gradually that they can get bad but it won't seem like it to you. I recently went for an inspection and the dealership told me I needed pads. I started to tell them to shove it then they reminded me the last time they replaced them was over 25000 miles ago. Truck seemed to stop fine to me but the GF told me even she noticed it was harder to stop lately when she drove it. If yours were bad enough to sieze somehow I doubt you were stopping on a dime up till this point.

I'm sorry, didn't realize you were willing to PayPal me $$ for new rotors and pads.

If you don't even have the money and/or know how to at least put on a cheap set of NAPA rotors and pads until your brakes sieze and your vehicle has to be towed maybe you just shouldn't have a car.
