You're right. A good example of a non-passive driver would be the elderly woman expressing her frustration at the OP BEING AN ASSHAT!! 

Don't give people a completely justifed reason to climb out of their car because of your complete and utter lack of consideration then these situations can be avoided altogether, can't they?

Let's say for the sake of argument that in front of you at the intersection is a recent finalist for the UFC (ostensibly a pretty tough guy who likes to fight, right?) who happens to be a huge Pavarotti fan and cannot stand to hear even the first beat of anything resembling hip-hop.

i just came back from going to a hardware store here because i had to pick something up nd we were stopped at a red light and i was wanging my system on full blast, so this lady in front of me in a mini van actually got out of her car for like 10 seconds and turned around and started yelling shit at me (i couldnt here what she was saying) then she just went back in her car and i kept blasting it, what would of yall done if in my position?

i usually turn it down at lights and past nine at nite in residential areas, but that pisses me off that see got out and yelled, i would have probly gave her a smile and left it on if i were you. but i dont take well to people giving me crap, even if im throwing it.
