I like to try to give people the benefit of the doubt, Kevin included. Hell, I was young and stupid, once, and got into a bit of twubbble wif da waw.Maybe the dude has seen the error of his ways and is flying the strait and narrow, now

But you aren't helping matters by coming on here and

1) being obtuse; or,

2) treating members , here , like they are too stupid to do basic math.

lol interesting thread non the less. I had a good experience with kevin and as long as i didnt feel i was being played or duped at the moment I could give two fuqqs less about what he did in the past. It is a little bit of a turn off knowing what all happened but as far as customer service goes I could not have asked for more or for quicker responses.

 
Wish everyone would just let it die.....sure keep it open for anyone to search incase people are curious. But beating a dead horse can only happen for so long lol

^This, theres no need to bring up such a past thats already been brought up back then I'm assuming due to some 'tard complaining about a company selling another companies product for money. It's just good business.

 
This thread has gotten way out of hand. Maybe Kevin has had a shady past, maybe not. What I do know now is the only people complaining in this thread are people that have not had business with Skar (yes I have read the whole thread). Everyone else that has done business with him since Skar opened has had nothing but good things to say. People do make mistakes, Kevin is young, around my age, so I'm lookin at Skar as a second chance, and from what I've read I think he has done more than enough to reprehend his mistakes.

Coming from a business standpoint I can personally say if you were in anyway affiliated with my company and talking the way you are, I would quickly correct your actions. Look through this post with an open mind and read what has been said. Kevin came in and defended himself the best he could under the circumstances, yet you are being very abrasive and not showing any type of remorse for his actions in your posting, in fact you say that it was to long ago and to forget about it. Which makes this situation worse do to the nature of the posts.

I can at least say this much. If would like to continue to post on behalf of a company, then my suggestion is to learn from Kevin. He seems to be doing fairly well with his posts. He explains a little about the situation and says it is resolved and even apologizes several times. This will typically win some people over whlie others will except it and just move on. Your posts are antagonistic and do nothing but stir the pot further.

I am no saint when it comes to posting, but it is my own company that would deal with the negative effects of my actions. If my company has deal with the negative actions of an employee or someone affiliated to the company, you can bet that would no longer be the case. I'm not saying I would fire them, but insuring they understood their actions is an understatement.

I do remember when all this stuff was going on a few years ago, and honestly, we all make mistakes, and if he corrected the issues, then I see no issues here.. Skar has good customer service as far as im concerned, and the communication is there even after the transaction.. I wouldnt hesitate dealing directly with kevin.. As for Selling sunwown, I have no issues with that, he is a vendor, thats irrelevant...

I see the logic of the situation simply past you by. You are posting on behalf of a company. Perhaps you do understand that enough to get what I am saying. Perhaps returning to school for some business management classes would net a better result in this case as obviously offering some incite into what you are going got no where.

I can honestly say, I am sorry that Kevin has to deal with you posting in this way. I can only hope he is smart enough to just simply ask you to to no longer "post for skar".

Here is something to remember. It does not matter if you have to hash this it very topic out on a daily basis. Bottom line is when posting for a company it is your job to attempt to dilute the situation in a calm and business like manner. This means "taking the high road" when posting. Just because it upsets you to read things or to hear those accusations means nothing. It is not YOU that they are made against. However, it is YOU making them into a worse situation.

 
Ryan you are just making it worse man. I'm on no ones side here, but just let the thread die here. I've seen nothing but unrealistic accusations at kevin, and I can understand how that would make you upset, but there are times when you have to just let things go, as I see Kevin has already did.
