yes it is smart or wise for an individual to go out and buy 20 pre order sa-8 v.2's for 125 dollars, and then sell them once the pre order is over for 185, but for a company to do it. . . a company that's extremely competitive with Sundown. Shaddy as ****.

Yeah I don't understand Skar Audio at all. Unsure of exactly what their working relationship is with Sundown but it just seems to me like if I was running my own company I would spend a lot more time pushing my own product than selling others.

What is the relevance of Jacob designing their subs have to do with this conversation? I work with many companies on R&D yet I do not buy in bulk then sell them off.

Yeah doesn't matter who helped who, but I see skar either going under soon or merging with sundown. Their amps and products are cookie cutter of sundown, with little modifications. And nothing puts them as special or unique. I see a wash out

Very true. I worded my original response wrong. I'm not saying Skar doesn't spend plenty of time pushing their own product but why sell the competition at the same time? I'd be too focused on my own brand to push and move other peoples products .

I agree. Which is why I am starting to have a "conflict of interest" in a few areas of what I do. Not sure where I'm going with everything just yet lol.... well I do..just not sure "when".

The car audio world really is smaller than I thought.. DD, aq and aB are close, sundown obsidian and now skar seem tied now...

AQ/DD are not tied with AB. They just use the same build house...as does several other companies out there. Sundown, OA, skar, Helix and many others use the same build house as well.

The difference is SA, Oa, and Skar Jacob has helped/owned/worked with in some way or another.

I won't be doing "DC Audio"........ Maybe another name perhaps...never know these days.
