LOC... Remote Wire?

um tap in to a acc ( key/radio on) wire in the ignition wire harness , fuse it also.
I was reading about installing a different one, that one just said tap into any other + speaker wire... good or bad idea? Also how big of a fuse?

The LOC does not have a remote wire on it sad to say. So I'll have to find one from the amp to wherever. I'm limited in tools and this is just a quick/ghetto install for now.

you can go in to the fuse box underdash to see if there is any open 12v spots that are switched.

but better to get it at the ing harness that comes from the key switch. run that to turn your amp/s on.

use like a 15/25 amp fuse

I think there were a few unused spots. If not I will just T it into the stock amp wire. Thanks, I never installed one of these... I figured it would have a remote wire on it.

FYI there was a spare, that was easy enough. I'm pretty impressed with the ID8's in a 1.1 cbft box (sealed) off of 600WRMS. Makes me excited to get a good aftermarket HU for them.
