little help...

alright, my friend wants probaly 1 10", i was thinking maybe 2 8"s. He wants minimal box area, SQ sounding, just basically bass to fill with the music, and maybe to crank up a little when he feels the need to. The thing is budget, probaly like 200 sub amp combo. I know its a tight cut, but what could you guys come up with?

we were talking, what about one 8" ED A, with a Power Akoustic Gothic amp, puts out 300 mono, 530 bridge. Amp- 80 bucks, Sub- 150? bucks. Thats a little over the 200 mark, but would probaly blow that pioneer away.

probably would, but I still think my suggestion is a great budget combo.

Thats $250 plus, then wiring/box, running around/over 300 now...

haha, alright, not really into buying off ebay, dont want that. so then what? Whats wrong with the ED setup? would the 10" be louder than the ED 8".

No, I was saying that the ED setup is probably the best bet...

oh, i see. well how would that 8" mathc up with other subwoofers? Anyone know? (lloyd)
